Massive Attack Concerts
In February 2010, Massive Attack played three benefit concerts at Newport, Brighton and the Hammersmith Apollo in support the HOPING Foundation. Massive Attack has been working with HOPING for four years, raising money and awareness for Palestinian refugee youth through supporting community youth associations in the refugee camps of occupied Gaza and the West Bank, as well as Syria and Lebanon. Sponsoring film and music workshops in refugee camps, and the building of media centres, Massive Attack has raised awareness of the issue when on tour while raising over £100,000 through three special sold out concerts in Birmingham and at the Brixton Academy in London in 2007.
