HOPING is launching the ‘Proof of Hope’ campaign to raise awareness and funds for educational, arts and sport activities for Palestinian refugee children growing up in camps across the Middle East.
We’re asking people to share a moment of pleasure; an emotional connection in our everyday life that reverberates and lifts the spirits. This could be anything from a sunrise, a kitten to a favourite shoe, a poem or a delicious cup of coffee. Something which captures a moment of tenderness - that feeling things are going to be alright.
£10.00 could provide extra educational support for a young refugee who missed out on school during lockdown.
£20.00 could enable a Palestinian refugee child to attend a theatre group, where they can express themselves through art, music and dance.
£50.00 could cover the cost of hiring pitches outside the refugee camps, giving girls and boys access to safe open spaces where they can play sport with friends.
If you are a UK Taxpayer please do tick the Gift Aid box. This will allow us to claim an additional 25p for every £1 donated at no extra cost to you.
Every contribution, however small, takes HOPING one step closer to being able to fund programmes.
