Art Therapy in Ein El Hilweh Camp, Lebanon

Many Palestinian refugee children have struggled with the return to school post lockdown and have experienced depression and anxiety. HOPING was asked to fund arts and drama sessions for 180 kids in Ein el Hilweh camp (the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon) to help rebuild the children’s self esteem. The sessions gave the kids the space to find their voice, develop tools to manage anxiety, and re-engage with their learning.
