Installing a solar panel at Ein el Hilweh Camp

In response to the on-going electricity crisis in Lebanon, which has left Palestinian refugee camps without power for up to 22 hours a day, HOPING funded the installation of  a solar panel at the community centre in Ein el Hilweh camp. With its own source of electricity, the centre can continue to run their after-school clubs for hundreds of children throughout the winter months.
