Supporting Community Centres

In 2009, HOPING made a number of grants to organisations in refugee camps in the occupied West Bank and Gaza to support the upkeep and expansion of their community centres. Among the projects in Gaza was the building of an activities hall in Khan Younis and establishing a library in Maghazi refugee camp. In the occupied West Bank, a computer lab was developed in Balata camp, we helped furnish Beit Jibrin Youth Centre in Bethlehem and established a library in Askar refugee camp.
