Bus Transportation

It is extremely difficult for Palestinian refugees in Syria who have fled across the border to Turkey to receive UN emergency support. Palestinian refugees are under the official protection of UNRWA rather the UNHCR, however UNRWA do not have a mandate to work in Turkey. HOPING covers transport costs to ensure Palestinian refugee children in Turkey have a bus to take them to and from school, as it is an hour's drive from where their families have taken refuge.
