'Eleven Days in May' charity premiere

In May 2022, HOPING was asked to be the partner at the charity première of ‘Eleven Days in May’ directed by Mohammad Sawwaf and Michael Winterbottom. The film is a simple portrait remembering the children who were killed in the bombing of Gaza in 2021. Funds raised on the night provided a grant to the Palestinian Medical Relief Society for their emergency work supporting families in Gaza. PMRS is an NGO adept at sending first responders into communities that ambulances cannot reach. The donation covered medical supplies, as well as relief packages for families whose homes have been destroyed, supplying basic provisions such as clothing and food.
